Less Fans....

According to this article, Kanye West wants "less fans". Apparently, if "mo' money, mo' problems" is true, the same applies to fans. It seems that Mr. West would appreciate less responsibility to consumers, ie, fans. There's a role model for ya!
You know, he's actually been on a roll to this less fans dream by having run his mouth so much throughout his career. If he would have just put a sock in it instead of running his yap saying all kinds of dumb ass shit, he'd probably HAVE more fans.
Keep livin' the dream, Kanye!

Happy '09!

Well, here we are, the last year of the "aughts" decade and the first post of my new blog, even though I set it up in November of aught 8 (a hint in case you have no clue what I mean by the aughts decade).
Obviously, by the title of my blog, I kind of hope to make this a mostly knitting blog, but there will be other non-fiber content here. Other than to be a knitting blog, I created this to have a blog separate from my MySpace page. I'll still post there every now and then, but this will be my chief blog. Also, I think it will be easier to post pictures on this blog, which is pretty much essential for a knitting blog.
On the knitting tip, I did get some knitterly stuff for Christmas. My mom gave me an awesome pair of size 5 Lantern Moon rosewood single points, which I am using to knit a 1x1 rib scarf with one of my favorite yarns, Noro Silk Garden, out of my favorite colorway, #87 also known as Rainbow. It isn't really rainbow colored, however, it's pastel blue, green, and pink with some fuschia, navy, and kinda goldenroddy yellow. I've already made, well not totally made, but ALMOST done with it, a 5 panel shawl with this colorway. To be honest, I don't think I'll finish it until the summer. I've sewn together all 5 panels, now I have to take the live stitches off of the holder at the bottom to knit the border, and then pick up stitches around the other edges for the side border. QUITE a lot of stitches, so it'll be a summer project. Here's a pic of the shawl from the pattern book. Maybe someday soon I'll take a pic of it in progress and show you what MINE looks like!
